ArcheAge Chronicles is set roughly 50 years after the legendary Expedition of the Twelve. The original ArcheAge told the tale of the ancient continent's tragic sundering, forcing humanity to flee across the sea under the maternal sacrifice of Goddess Nui.
In Chronicles, the mist surrounding the forbidden continent has cleared.
